I have this shoe in black and bought it for a trip to Greece. I CAN NOT wear walking shoes due to my narrow feet and a high arch. I also do not like the way walking shoes look. I wore the black ones every day in Greece climbing hills and walking on cobblestones. They were wonderful. I told my husband the first thing I was going to do when I returned home was to order another black pair to have on reserve. I have ordered it in black from my local shoe store, but found these taupe ones for much less on Amazon. I am very happy. A word of caution, I do not think someone with wide feet would be happy.
